Annual Conference
Roanoke College, September 12-13, 2014

Confirmed Invited Speakers:
Nicholas Davey (Keynote)

Kristin Gjesdal

Submissions for papers are invited on all themes related to philosophical hermeneutics. In order to promote a spirit of dialogue and meaningful reflection on each paper, presenters will be asked to make their papers available for posting on our web site to be read in advance. Sessions will consist of 30 minute presentations of papers, followed by discussion. Though there will only be time to read 30 minute versions of papers in sessions, there is some flexibility regarding the length of submissions: submissions may be between 3,000 and 6,000 words. Complete papers in English, formatted for blind review, must be submitted electronically to nasphermeneutics@gmail.com. Attachments in either *.doc, *.rtf, or *.pdf format are preferable. The deadline for full-paper submissions is June 1, 2014. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by July 1, 2014. For more information about the society and/or to be put on an e-mail list, please visit our blog at the URL below or contact Theodore George (t-george@philosophy.tamu.edu) or Monica Vilhauer (vilhauer@roanoke.edu).
