The SPEP Executive Committee seeks applications for the position of Secretary-
Treasurer, to begin at the conclusion of the Fall 2024 conference (but attending the Executive Committee meeting in Spring 2024 and shadowing current Secretary-Treasurer Laura McMahon in advance of the 2024 conference). The Secretary-Treasurer typically holds a three-year term, but we are hoping that the next Secretary-Treasurer will fulfill a three- or four-year term, with a strong preference for four years. Information about the Secretary-Treasurer information can be found in the SPEP handbook. The position comes with an annual honorarium.
Qualifications: familiarity with SPEP; experience with administrative and financial procedures appropriate for running a large international academic organization; PhD in philosophy with specialization in continental philosophy or in any of the areas usually represented on the SPEP annual program. Preference will be giving to SPEP members. Information about the Secretary-Treasurer information can be found in the SPEP handbook. The position comes with an annual honorarium.
