Chiasma: A Site for Thought, the International Journal of Theory and Philosophy at Western University’s Centre for the Study of Theory and Criticism is soliciting papers on the relationship between philosophy and Fascism (broadly understood).
In the vein of our theoretical forbearers, we want to critically analyze the way(s) in which Fascism instrumentalizes philosophy for its own ends. As such, some topics might include:
-Enlightenment thought and Fascist ideals (race science, rationalism, modernism, etc.)
-Aesthetics (and the politicization thereof)
-Contemporary Fascistic ideologies under libertarian auspices (Silicon Valleyites, etc.)
-Psychology / Psychoanalysis and Fascistic dynamics
-The actual philosophy of Fascism as such
-Uses and abuses of specific thinkers to justify far-Right aims (Nietzsche, etc.)

Manuscripts should be between 6,000-10,000 words and submitted via our submission portal. The deadline is January 31st, 2024.
