Bulletin Heideggérien

In view of the proliferation of Heidegger studies in France and elsewhere, the Bulletin heideggérien (Bhdg) has been created as a necessary complement to the existing organs of information and research dedicated to the thought and work of Martin Heidegger.

Conceived on the model of existing French philosophical bulletins, the Bulletin heideggérien will complement journals such as Heidegger Studien, the Heidegger-Jahrbuch, and the Jahresgabe der Martin-Heidegger-Gesellschaft. It will present information relating to the philosophy and texts of Heidegger, information that the journals above can only include to a limited extent. It will constitute an essential research tool for scholars throughout the world by containing exhaustive international bibliographies of work that has appeared in the past year, notices, reviews, and other items facilitating study of Heidegger’s texts.

Aiming to make the heritage of Heidegger’s work as accessible as possible by facilitating engagement both with his texts and with those of his readers, the Bhdg will appear once a year in the Archives de Philosophie. It will also appear in an electronic format. The Bulletin is organised by a francophone team of young researchers : Diana AURENQUE (Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg i. Br.), Cristian CIOCAN (Universitatea din Bucaresti), François JARAN (Université de Montréal), Mark SINCLAIR (Manchester Metropolitan University), Christian SOMMER (Archives-Husserl Paris), Sévérin YAPPO (Université Catholique de Louvain), led by Sylvain CAMILLERI (Université Catholique de Louvain) and Christophe PERRIN (Université Paris-Sorbonne).

The work of the Bulletin heideggérien will also be supported by an Advisory Committee of internationally renowned specialists. The first edition will appear in January 2011. Please send any information concerning publications (in 2010) and recent or forthcoming conferences (2010 and 2011), in any language or country, to: bulletin.heideggerien@gmail.com. Proposals concerning possible collaborations are also welcome.
