We invite original contributions on the experimental, theoretical, and methodological issues surrounding wearable neurotechnology, i.e., devices that connect brains to computers, and the software for analyzing neural data. Devices such as smartglasses, smartwatches, wearable EEG, and wearable haptic feedback are generating new domains of neural and cognitive data, enabling new ways to monitor and intervene on neural and cognitive processes. Commercial development is moving quickly, academic research is expanding, and government and professional organizations have begun to recognize the importance of this new terrain.
