CFP: University of Texas at Dallas Undergraduate Philosophy Conference

2nd Annual University of Texas at Dallas Undergraduate Philosophy Conference

The University of Texas at Dallas Undergraduate Philosophy Conference is now accepting submissions for a virtual conference to be held Saturday, April 17, 2021.

This conference is held to provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to present their original work in any area of philosophy. In addition, it is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to interact and meet other students studying philosophy from different institutions. All papers will be evaluated using a blind review process.

We are honored to announce this year’s keynote speaker will be: Dr. Janae Scholtz of Alvernia University.

Submissions should be sent to utdphilcon@gmail.com and should include the following:
• Aprox. 150-word abstract
• A paper on any philosophical topic, ready for blind review, without any identifying information. Completed papers should be 2000-3000 words in length and should be designed for a 20-minute presentation. (PDF or Doc)
• The conference also encourages artistic or atypical presentations insofar as they are submitted in a format acceptable for review and engage a specific philosophical topic or problem. (Poetry, spoken word, fiction, etc…)

Please include the following in the body of your submission email:

Author name
