American Weil Society: “Hope in Exile”

“Hope in Exile” is the theme of the 36th Annual Colloquy of the American Weil Society, which will be held April 15-16, 2016, at the Drury Inn and Suites in downtown New Orleans, Louisiana. While we encourage proposals dealing with this broad theme that could address Simone Weil’s ethical, religious, social, and/or political philosophy, all timely proposals will be considered. Submissions should consist of a paper abstract (300-500 words), prepared for anonymous review, along with a cover page listing the author’s name, affiliation, paper title, and contact information. Deadline for proposal submissions: January 15, 2016. Notification of acceptances will be made by January 31, 2016. Registration for the conference will be $30, and participants must be up-to-date members of the American Weil Society. For more details, see: www.americanweilsociety.org
