Position of professor of German philosophy (from Kant until the end of the nineteenth century)

The Department of Philosophy (Université de Montréal) is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track position, at the rank of assistant or associate professor, in the field of German philosophy. The appointed candidate will be nominated for the Canada Research Chairs Program, Tier II.

The appointed candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise graduate students, engage in ongoing research and publication, and contribute to the academic life and reputation of the University. The complete application, consisting of a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a copy of recent publications or research projects, and a description of a research program, must be received by the Chair of the Department either by post or by email no later than January 5, 2015.
