Old Dominion University: Assistant Prof. in Philosophy of Technology

Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA. Assistant Professor, tenure track. AOS: Philosophy of Technology AOC: Computer Ethics. In addition, the successful applicant will work with other faculty to design a philosophy course to meet the university’s Information Literacy and Research general education requirement and will be primarily responsible for teaching this course. Preference will be given to applicants whose other teaching interests complement the department’s existing areas of curricular strength.

Successful applicant will provide compelling evidence of both teaching effectiveness and scholarly potential. Completed Ph.D. in philosophy required by time of appointment. (Completed Ph.D. by time of application strongly preferred.) Review of applications will begin 4/22 and continue until position is filled.
