Lewis Gordon to Give Remarks at PGSA Conference
The PGSA at the University of Memphis is pleased to announce that Dr. Lewis Gordon, Laura H. Carnell Professor of Philosophy at Temple University, will be providing Introductory Remarks at the upcoming philosophy graduate student conference to be held February 11 and 12, 2011 entitled, “The Social Ontology of Race in the ‘Post-Racial’ Era.”
Dr. Gordon’s remarks will take place at 4:30 p.m. in the University Center River Room just before the keynote address provided by Dr. Jennifer Lisa Vest of the University of Central Florida.
Deadline for submissions is January 1.
